The Visual Arts Department came into being in the Fall of 2000. It includes the programs that were once under independent departments, now merged: Photography, Art and Graphic Design.

Visual Arts is proud that its programs are highly accredited with honors, has extremely well-qualified teachers, exceptional students, successful graduates, and integrated programs. Our teachers are friendly, work well together, and give their students their very best.

Photography and Art offer degrees (AA and AS) suited best for transfer to four year institutions. Photography and Graphic Design offer Associate of Applied Science degrees designed to prepare graduates to enter the work force immediately, and in some cases several courses can also be transfered to bachelor degree granting institutions offering the same majors. Photography and Graphic design also offer certificates of completion in their major subjects.
