Lynaé Jacob, Speech and Theatre Arts Department Chair Lynaé got her start at AC where she took
summer classes for several years. She continued her studies at Southwest Texas
State University and then received a BS in education and an MA in Speech and
Theatre at West Texas State University. Lynaé found her passion on the
stage at the age of nine and has since pursued that passion in the Amarillo
area. She has performed, taught, and directed in Amarillo for the past twenty
years. Eleven of those years were spent teaching speech and theatre direction at
Amarillo High School where her students received numerous honorable mentions,
all star, best actor and actress awards as well as outstanding technical theatre
awards. Many audiences will recognize Lynaé from a variety of roles at the
Amarillo Little Theatre as well as local commercials and voice-overs. In
spite of her busy schedule, Lynaé and her husband, Brian, enjoy spending time
watching musicals, concerts, and the athletic events of their children, Jordan
and Connor. Lynaé's hobbies include sewing, singing, and snow skiing. |
