Ray has received an AS and a BA in Theatre at Texas institutions and an MFA in Theatre from Tulane University in New Orleans. Teaching college theatre since 1996 and now at Amarillo College, Ray has been on the faculty of Tarrant County College and the University of Texas at Arlington. He has directed and/or designed over fifty productions. TETA awarded him with Educator of the Year for Community Colleges in 2004. Ray believes in and supports the challenging and joyful educational experience that UIL OAP provides to our state's students.
