1. Shannah George WON in the Properties Design category for Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music.  This marks the first time a TheatreAC student won in this category.  Congratulations, Shannah!

2. Allan Ulibarri was Runner-Up in the Graphics Design category for Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music.  Allan's entry marked the first time TheatreAC has entered this category.  Congratulations, Allan!

Additionally, two graduates of TheatreAC garnered awards at the festival representing their new schools:

Brandy Calcote (2008 AC Grad) WON the Lee Hicks Award for Best Partner in the final round of the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Auditions.  She currently attends Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi.  She was up against 160 other partners (both undergraduate and graduate students), so this is quite a high honor.  Congratulations, Brandy!
