Marcie Robinson, an Amarillo College graduate, is the current program director for Amarillo College's radio station, FM 90. Robinson has been the program director for two-and-a-half years. Her format is aired from 9-12 on Sunday mornings when she plays Tex-Tunes.

She also teaches a radio class. "I want to continue to teach more students about the radio," Robinson said.

Among the disc jockeys at FM 90 is "Tres." He graduated from Tucumcari High School in 1999 and is a public relations major.

His format includes playing new and alternative music. Aside from working as a DJ, he also works at Macaroni Joe's.

"I felt that this was the only way to get into the music business since I can't sing or play any instruments," he said. After completing his major at AC, Tres hopes to work in a bigger market and to change the music business by promoting diversity.

"Jen Evans" is a mass communications major. Her format includes Independent music, Saturdays from 8-10 and Alternative from 8-12 on Tuesdays.
Evans discovered her interest in music when she followed former Program Director Jamie Neill for a day. "I hope to get more experience and get better job opportunities after AC," Evans said. "Kid Cliché" has been a DJ for about a year and a half. He is a radio-tv major and his show comes out from 4-8 on Saturdays. His format is "Body and Soul."

He plays R&B and Hip-Hop. When he is not at FM 90 he works at Pizza Hut as a manager. "Hopefully I can get into a bigger market and be program director," Cliché said.
