receives Texan Caring Award

Hemphill, Amarillo Technical Center executive secretary, center, has
been given the Texans Caring for Texans Award. Employees of 75
agencies were recognized. "I was thrilled," Hemphill said. "The
senators made it special to know they cared enough to take the time
and hand out the awards to people doing things above and beyond
