Overview:
The student will understand the relationship between feet, beaks,
and diet. They will compare and contrast, the beaks from
different birds, the feet of different birds, and the diet of
different birds.
Instructional Cycle
1. Ask student to list what kinds of beaks birds have.
2. Activity 1 -Beaks and Diet
3. Discuss activity 1 with students.
4. Have the students think about common things we use everyday that
would represent different kinds of beaks.
5. Ask students to list what kinds of feet birds have.
6. Activity 2 - Feet Specializations
7. Discuss activity 2 with students
8. Have students read description page.
9. Finish with the crossword puzzle.
