The Associate in Applied Science degree is designed to prepare the student for entry level positions in professional photography, It is general in nature, encompassing the fundamentals and basics of photography. Also included in the curriculum are courses in Illustration, Color, Digital (Adobe Photoshop) and Portraiture, to name a few. The Associate In Arts degree in Photography is designed to be the first two years of a four-year baccalaureate degree in photography. It includes course work that will transfer to any four-year College or University in the State of Texas . If the student plans to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Photography this would be the degree of choice. Click here for more information.

The Certificate in Photography is primarily made up of Photography courses without the 18 hours of general education course that are included in the AAS degree. These courses are preparation for your entry into the photography profession. This degree is a total of 42 hours of course work and it requires two years of part-time enrollment to complete.
