The Amarillo College Engineering Society is
a non profit educational service organization formed to
support students in engineering and promote engineering as a
career.ACES encourage
students to achieve full potential in careers in the engineering
field. As leaders, ACES develop the image of the engineering
profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life
and reveal the value of diversity.
ACES is dedicated to
encourage current students in their educational goals,
provide a social support system for students, and enhance the
image of engineering through community programs. We invite
all engineering, math, science, architecture, and computer
science majors to join us in reaching our goals. We have
many activities throughout the year which include formal
meetings, social events, guest speakers, and community service
projects.
ACES strives to provide
students with the best combination of leadership, teamwork, and
industry skills to be successful once they enter the industry.
Student membership provides students the opportunity to tour
local industries and meet practicing professionals while
still attending school.
Student members may attend
society-sponsored meetings, conferences, and sections meetings
at a reduced price or free of charge. |
